This client are a large recognisable brand in the industry with outlets all over the UK.
The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter role would suit a mechanical fitter or mechanical maintenance engineer with a background in manufacturing or a production facility.
Applicants must be competent with hydraulics, pneumatics and ideally have experience with pipefitting.
Applicants with basic electrical skills will have an advantage but this is not an essential requirement.
Reporting to the engineering manager and working within a small but growing maintenance team, the role will involve a mixture of reactive and pre-planned maintenance on a range of production machinery. The work is predominantly reactive/breakdown focused with plans in place to implement a more robust PPM schedule. Over the initial 6 months some occasional facilities maintenance will also be required when necessary.
This is a fast paced, varied role within a well renowned, well established manufacturer. On the job training will be provided to the successful candidate. The role would suit applicants who seek the opportunity to obtain a work/life balance within a days based position.
